Bio/Interests: I have been at The Miami Herald for 15 years, working mostly as a local news editor in Miami and Broward County. For many of those years, I worked part-time to make way for my REAL full-time job: raising my daughters, who are now 4 and 8. I have been married for almost 15 years, too. I love to read and nap at the beach -- though I haven't been able to do it since 1999. I hate to cook, and if there was an Olympics for horrible housekeeping, I'd win the gold medal.
